Spring Mill Distillery – Creators of Premium Spirits
You might recognize the name Sleeman as a brewer of great beer, but the family has now also gone back into the distilling business after first launching a short-lived venture way back in 1836.
Now, almost two centuries later, Spring Mill Distillery graces the banks of the Speed River in Guelph, Ontario.
They still employ a time-honoured, simple approach to distilling. They’ve also built the operation in a restored mill and distillery which operated on the site in 1835. The new distillery honours the site and a very careful restoration project echoes with reminders of the great traditions of distilling.
Spring Mill produces vodka, gin and whisky. Enjoy their signature cocktail, The Dellemere, named after a tavern that had operated near the mill in which the new distillery is located in the 1830s.
