The Winery
Waupoos Estates Winery was the first one established in Prince Edward County. Our first vineyards were planted in 1993 and we now grow 18 different varieties of grapes on 20 acres.
Our wine cellar and retail store were built from the ground up and officially opened in 2001. Sample and buy our award winning wines in the store or browse through our wine-related gift items. Visit the chocolate and gelato store as well for a sweet treat.
The Restaurant
The Restaurant at Waupoos Estates is located by the water’s edge. The gazebo-style building is nestled among the vineyards and boasts panoramic views of Lake Ontario. In addition, our fully enclosed eatery features a state of the art kitchen and a full bar area.
The restaurant’s focus is Farm to Table and is supplied with the freshest produce from our carefully planned gardens. Moreover, our kitchen staff transforms any surplus produce into the tastiest preserves. A full line of preserves and pickles are featured on the menu and are available to take home.
Our estate also runs a fully operational farm where we raise various proteins including cattle, lamb and poultry. We take great pride in harvesting our produce at its peak and raising our protein with care.
The Cider House
We share our stunning 100 acre waterfront property with Clafeld Cider House. Our flagship cider is aptly named Smashed, a blend of all the apples we grow. In addition, we have a line of naturally infused ciders that are steeped with dried flowers, herbs or fruits. Enjoy a cider or a flight on our patio overlooking Waupoos and Lake Ontario!
The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a beautifully restored century home situated on the grounds of the Waupoos Estates Winery. With breathtaking views of Prince Edward Bay and our well-kept vineyards, the Farmhouse provides a stunning backdrop to your stay.
The house has four bedrooms located on the upper level. Renting a room also grants access to the front parlour room in addition to the porch overlooking the lake.
